At Least 142 Dead As Airbus Crashes In France

PARIS -- The French newspaper La Provence says an Airbus plane with at
least 142 passengers, two pilots and four flight attendants on board has
crashed in the Alps region.
The Germanwings flight was traveling from Barcelona to Dusseldorf when
it crashed between Digne et Barcelonnette, the paper said. It cited French
civil aviation authorities for the number of people.
Airbus said it is aware of the reports of a crash but could not confirm.
The French president said there are likely 'no survivors' in the crash.
